first school week and bunkasai

sorry for not being absent the last two weeks had a really bussy time.
before I went to school I had a bbq with the whole neighborhood , it was really fun ( a lot of little kids) everyone was really nice and curious about the Netherlands  ( for al dutch people here please try to explain what a rijtjeshuis is in english... its impossible so now are people thinking that dutch people live in a huge house with the hole neighborhood....)


the other day I went to my school for just meet the teachers and try the uniform.
and after that my school live has started ....
there are 2 other girls one from America and one from Germany the american girl move from america to Japan for 9 months, her mother is Japanese and her Japanese is also pretty good.
the first day all 3 foreign students had to do a speech to all the sensei's (teachers,
)and after that I did the same speech to al my classmates.
all the people class are really nice, especially the girls ^_^.
so I can say I feel home in this class
only now I see how bad my Japanese is , luckily my school offers class every Thursday for those who needs it ;-) I cant say no to that xP.
after a few days we had to prepare for bunkasai (culture festival)
in bunkasai , al classes prepare something , like a play or haunted house and many culture clubs advertise them self
it was a lot of fun , it is a shame that the Netherlands doesn't have bunkasai it would be awesome
my class did a play, I helped with the decoration and posters , also me and the other 2 foreign students had to do a speech about their home country that was very fun ! (was not even scary or nervous)
also they asked us to join a speech contest the topic is the difference between Japan and your home country and it should be al in Japanese  I heard it is a very big contest because there are 100 nominees, before I knew it I said yes (no regrets yet...) so yheaa I am joining a speech contest ...
